Catching him looking at you with appreciation and interest is one of the best dating moments. It’s tempting to try to speed up the dating process to get to that moment sooner, but here are 8 crazy things you should never do to get a guy to like you.

Staying Out All Night

Trying to impress a party-guy with your party-stamina doesn’t mean he’ll like you. It just means he found a “fun girl” he can play with. It also doesn’t mean he’ll ever date you either, though a booty call is likely.

Playing Dumb

You’re a smart woman. Do not play down your intelligence, or think you have to, to get a guy to like you. If you feel the need to play dumb, it might be a smidge of insecurity within you, or you need to change the “type” of guy you date.

Having Sex Too Soon

Might be fun, mind be mind-blowingly awesome even, but it doesn’t mean he will like you any more in the morning. He might like the sex, definitely, but it doesn’t necessarily mean he knows or likes you any better. If you want to have sex, and you are fully aware of the reality of that choice, then it’s your decision. Do not have sex because you think it’ll make him like you, commit to you, or want to see you more with your clothes on.

Blowing Off Your Job

You might think you’re showing your carefree, daredevil side, but when the guy is gone, and so is your job, you’ll know this was one of the crazy things you did to get a guy to like you.

Getting Drunk

This particular crazy thing could get you in real trouble if the guy is a total creep and takes advantage of the situation.

Inviting Him Over for Dinner Too Soon

This one doesn’t sound crazy on the surface, but if it’s early in the dating process, it is. He has no business knowing where you live in the first few dates. Yes, cooking for him will be noticed and likely appreciated, but what makes this a crazy thing to get a guy to like you is the risk to your own safety.
