One of my book readers of “Love is Blind Only if You Are” shared her story with me and asked me to share it with others so they can learn from her experience. If you would like to share your story, please email me at info@debrakunz.com.

It was as if her head and heart collided in a thrashing clash of logic and passion when she shouted this moment of alarm at the top of her lungs, “I married a hot-jerk!”
He was charming, sexy, always had the right answers, and could make her melt with one look. He was also controlling, arrogant and treated her like an afterthought. “I married a hot-jerk” was as clear as a bell now, and her acknowledgement of that reality was suddenly sinking in.
She had been so caught up in the romance of him that she just plain ignored all the signals of trouble, her gut instincts, and that queasy feeling that something just wasn’t right. She stifled any logic coming from her head since it would have meant continuing to be single.
Turns out, she is no longer married to the “hot-jerk” as she labeled him after the fact. He left her for another woman who is still enamored with his charm and hasn’t yet realized he is not the good man she deserves.
It was a heart-breaking divorce, one that’s fodder for the tabloids, but as she recognized that she has the power to make a different decision this time, her shoulders started to relax. Her face softened. Her broken, devastated look became a hopeful smile.
“This time,” she said, “I’m using my head with my heart. Real love, and a good man you can make a life with, combines both. I get it now! Thank you Debra.”
Date Deliberately,
Debra
